This is a help list of tasks we can now perform if you are a registered OSV user.

1. You may add a comment on any page - must be logged in when reading that page and a form will be at the bottom.

2. Look at a list of registered OSV members and read their profile. After logging in, click on Our Users List in the Members menu and a list will appear. Click on the user name for their profile. You also may send the user an email from the llist just click on EMAIL next to the Name.

3. Update your profile to include a picture of yourself, change passwords, and add the ships you served aboard. Log in and click on Your Details in the Members menu. When your profile page appears then click on Edit / Update Your Profle or Edit Udate Your Image, Update your profile is fairly self-explanitory. Fill in the blanks

To add your immage, (no larger than 200 px x 500 px) have you picture ready on your computer, Click on Browse and point to where your picture is on your PC and click Upload. Your pic will now show up in your profile page

4. Add a entry in the Virtual meeting room. Login and click Virtual Meeting Room in the Members menu. Click on the vessel you would like to add your comment, click on New Thread and type away. You then can preview what you typed correct errors if needed and then click on Submit button. You may edit your submission later if you like.

5. Add an entry to the Guest Book. Login and select Log Book from Members menu.

6. Have a link you would like to add to the site? Good, then from the Members menu click on Submit Weblink.

7.  You can Submit an article for publication by clicking on  Submit an Article in the Members menu. There is a Help file in the Members menu to assist in the above two tasks.

8. Please click on Check-in my Items on Members menu any time you make any changes or submissions

9. Each Member is allowed to add up to  50 images to their image gallery, Click on Photo Gallery to do this.  Again this is for members only and you must be logged in.
